Digital Posters
The HGM2012 Organising Committee is excited to announce that a new digital platform will be used for the 2012 Meeting being held from 11-14 March this year.
The digital poster format provides an excellent opportunity for presenters to utilise electronic, digital and visual displays to share their research, and to interact with delegates on an individual basis. Presenters using PowerPoint to create their poster can include video presentations, animations, and sound files (i.e. your voice recorded on each slide like you are presenting the poster). There is also a zoom in/out function in the software, in order to see high resolution photos in great detail.
Digital posters will be displayed on a number of large 46" HD LCD screens throughout the exhibition area. The posters will also be accessible at Internet kiosks, and via the wireless Eventranet network on site at the Meeting. Delegates will also be given a username and password which will give them access from their home or hotel rooms. Delegates attending the Meeting will have access to view and even submit questions about the presentations using large touch-screens around the venue.
Please note: the digital posters are like ‘mini-talks on demand’. They will not be presented to all delegates, however if some delegates are interested in your digital poster, you can arrange a time to meet and talk about your research.
